HealthReach Community Clinic
HealthReach Community Clinic provides free medical care and medications for low-income, uninsured residents of Iredell County. We would welcome volunteers that have a medical background, such as doctors, advanced care practitioners, nurses and medical assistants.
We are staffed primarily by volunteers, who come in for four-hour overlapping shifts between 7am and 11pm. Volunteers do mainly bedside care, which can involve light cooking, helping a resident clean up, use the restroom/get changed, or just keeping them company (whatever they need during those four hours). In depth training is provided.
For more information please call Alissa Conlin, Volunteer Coordinator at (704)664-2004.
