  Meet Sr. Helen Prejean, CSJ
  
  Sr. Helen has been instrumental in sparking national dialogue on the death penalty. She has been educating about the death penalty and counseling individual death row prisoners since 1984. She is the author of Dead Man Walking: An Eyewitness Account of the Death Penalty in the United States. Her second book, The Death of Innocents: An Eyewitness Account of Wrongful Executions was released in 2004. She spoke at St. Therese of her experiences and attended a book signing.
