Denise Leppla

I was born and raised in Wooster, OH (which is about an hour south of Cleveland).  I’m from a traditional BIG Catholic Family, being #5 of 7 girls + a foster brother.  I attended Catholic School from 1st through 8th Grade, where I received a great education.   After high school, I graduated from University of Akron (OH).

In 2002, I was blessed to have a job opportunity bring me to the Charlotte area.  I moved to Mooresville the end of 2003, and joined the St. Therese Church family at that time.  Shortly thereafter, I joined the Adult Choir and have been singing (or attempting to sing) with the Choir ever since.  I currently attend the 8:00am mass on Sunday mornings.

I have three grown children, none of which are in the area, but we have a great relationship and close bond.

I am employed as a Project Manager for EB Display, which is a Custom Display Company, headquartered in OH, but I work out of a satellite office in Mooresville.

For fun, I like to stay active by jogging, biking, walking, working out at the gym, & doing yard work.  I also enjoy sewing/quilting, singing, drinking wine & spending time with friends.

Denise is the Pastoral Council contact to the Liturgy and Worship Commission.
