Please know that we are committed to continuing the good work of our parish and the Church at this time. We want to thank each of you for the many ways you support our mission, and ask that you please continue to support the work of our Church. Our parish is dependent upon your weekly financial gifts to continue its ministries in this critical time of crisis when we are not able to attend Mass. Our weekly offertory of approximately $25,000 helps to offset our expenses (ie. electric, heat (gas), water for 3 buildings and the Rectory) and provide assistance to those in need (ie. outreach ministries including the Mooresville Christian Mission and feednc - formerly the Mooresville Soup Kitchen). With the closing of Mass, we are not receiving that general offertory as budgeted. If you are able to continue to support the needs of your church please consider transitioning to online giving using the Donations and Payments button.
Online giving is a simple and convenient way to give and make payments.
Consider automating your regular donations with our electronic giving program. St. Therese relies on the financial support of the congregation and electronic giving offers an easy way to give on a regular basis. Faith Formation Registration Fees and Little Way Preschool Tuition can also be paid electronically. If you have any questions, please call the parish office.
Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or from your checking or savings account.
One-time and monthly payments can be drawn on either the 1st or the 15th of the month.
What is an Online (Electronic) Contribution?
It is an automatic transfer program for you to contribute without writing a check.
What is the advantage of Online Contributions?
They save time, work, and simplify your life! You also help the church stabilize its budget.
How will my Online Contribution be deducted from my account?
The amount you authorize is electronically transferred directly from your bank account or credit card to the church's bank.
When will my contribution be deducted from my account?
The parish will tell the bank to make the transfers on the 1st or 15th day of each month, whichever you select. You will never have to worry about forgetting your donation or mailing your check when you are away.
If I do not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?
You simply record it in your checkbook register on the 1st or 15th of each month.
Is there any risk in an Online Contribution?
It is less risky than a check or cash. It cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed and all electronic sites are absolutely secure.
What if I change bank accounts?
You can change the account online or notify the parish and we will give you a new authorization form to complete.
How much does an Online Contribution cost?
It costs you nothing and saves you time. If you use a credit card, you may incur interest payments, the same as any credit card transaction. There is a charge incurred by the church for credit card transactions. Please consider increasing your donation to cover this charge (typically 3 to 4%).
What if I try Online Contributions and don't like it?
You may cancel your authorization yourself using the online login through the website or by notifying St. Therese in writing at any time. But, once you've enjoyed the convenience, time, and money savings of electronic contributions, we doubt that you will want to go back to making contributions the way you did before.
How do I sign up for Online Contributions?
Click on the Donation button to logon to the online giving site. If you are already giving electronically, be sure to use the same email address. Call the parish office if you need help with this. You may also complete and sign the authorization form and return it to the parish office, along with a voided check, savings deposit slip, or credit card information.
What choices do I have for payments?
You may specify donations to Offertory, New Church Construction, New Church Special Gifts, Holy Days, Christmas, Easter, Poor box, Outreach/Food Baskets, and Priests Retirement. Donations may be made monthly (1st or 15th), semi-monthly (1st and 15th) or one time (1st or 15th).
You may also pay fees for Faith Formation, Vacation Bible School and Little Way Preschool. Preschool fees must be paid monthly on the 15th. Faith Formation may be paid on the 1st or 15th.
