Mary's Women of Joy

What is Mary's Women of Joy?
Mary’s Women of Joy is a sisterhood celebrating our beauty and dignity as beloved daughters of God and honoring the feminine genius so perfectly expressed by our Mother Mary.  Entrusted to the Heart of Mary and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, MWOJ seeks to encounter Jesus Christ more deeply through prayer and the Catholic study of Scripture and Church teachings.  Fostering relationships with one another, MWOJ encourages and supports women in their spiritual growth, understanding, and appreciation of the Catholic faith. 

Women of our parish are invited to join us this fall as we begin MWOJ with the study “Queen of Heaven:  Mary’s Battle for Souls”, where participants will encounter Mary as never before!  We will accompany Mary from her Immaculate Conception through her Assumption and beyond, as she is sent by God to defend Christendom at Lepanto, free captive people at Guadalupe and heal a broken nation at Lourdes.

We will  listen to her words at Fatima as she predicts the rise of Communism - and watch as she defeats it through her beloved Pope.  Above all, we discover why, through the battle continues, victory is assured to all who turn to the Queen of Heaven.
