The St. Therese Parish Library exists for the use, benefit, and spiritual growth of its parishioners, through the provision of reading material and other educational materials to further their knowledge of the Catholic Church and its faith. Emphasis is placed on materials that are consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church, that also enhance one’s knowledge of the faith, strengthen their spiritual life, and their relationship with God.
Vision
The STCC Parish Library envisions creating a warm, vibrant, and welcoming place for our parish community where members all can gather to further learn and discover more about the history and the faith of the Catholic Church, and to grow in their spiritual lives and discipleship in Christ.
"When we pray, we speak to God; but when we read, God speaks to us." - St. Jerome
"The harm that comes to souls from the lack of reading holy books makes me shudder...What power spiritual reading has to lead to a change of course, and to make even worldly people enter into the way of perfection." - St. Padre Pio
"Only for today, I will devote ten minutes of my time to some good reading, remembering that just as food is necessary to the life of the body, so good reading is necessary to the life of the soul."
-Pope John XXIII
