The coat-of-arms for this group: the shield is a radiant sun (rising for manics or setting for depressives). The shield carries a bar dexter emblazoned with six (St. Andrew's) crossed needles in two equal groupings; the upper half with (St. Therese) roses entwining a crucifix; lower half with (St. Therese) crossed hammer and church key (the bottle opener.) The scroll below bears the latin inscription "Nos Adiuvate Aut". Some translate it as "Would you be so kind to lend us a hand" but others suggest that "Help or Else" is more accurate.
Funeral Meals Ministry, Healing Prayer Shawl Ministry, Rummage Sale, and the Social Butterflies are all sponsored by S.W.A.T. and the leaders of those ministries are members of S.W.A.T.
