Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound wish to bring into community those persons who cannot physically be with us to worship, by bringing them the Body of Christ.
It is a way of caring for those persons with Christ-like compassion by sharing His body in order that they may be strengthened for their journey through this life and to life everlasting.
Eucharistic Ministers to the Homebound visit the sick and take them the Eucharist. This helps make them feel a part of our parish community. Visits are conducted at your convenience, in private homes and/or healthcare facilities. Anyone who has received training as a Eucharistic Minister can receive additional training for this ministry. A background check and completion of the "Protecting God's Children" class is required.
