English as a Second Language (ESL)’s mission is to provide English language instruction to adult second language learners of Spanish and other non English language backgrounds.
English language instruction includes listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the English language. The goal of the ESL program is to help English learners to speak and communicate in the English language in order to be able to participate more productively in American society.
ESL students study and practice English grammar, dialogues, communication skills and functional skills such as going to the doctor, applying for a job, helping their children with homework assignments, becoming a U.S. citizen etc.
The Fall Semester begins September 9th. Classes offered are: Monday 10:00-11:30am; Tuesday 6:00pm - 7:00pm
