Eagle Scout Project - Supporting veterans undergoing cancer treatment
My name is Connor Crase and I am a Boy Scout from Troop 377 in Mooresville, NC. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout Project: a project to support our Veterans who are going through chemotherapy at the VA Medical Center in nearby Salisbury, NC. The project entails creating bags filled with supplies (e.g. warm hats, socks, gloves, lotion, lip balm, hard candy, etc.) to help give these Veterans some comfort during their battles with cancer and to alleviate some side effects of chemotherapy, especially during their infusion treatments.
My fundraising goal is $1,800 which will be used to prepare
75 of these care bags.
