The goal of the St. Therese Athletic Department is to build a program that members of all ages can support with pride and bring us closer within our immediate church community, while allowing our adult and youth teams to represent St. Therese in a competitive Christian manner that all can be proud of. Our program emphasizes faith-based character and conduct, achievement in athletics, confidence building, leadership skills and respect for teammates and opponents.

Men’s games are at Mazeppa Park and co-ed is at R.C. Bradford Park. First games are predicted to start in late August.
Practices will begin in early August.
Requirements to play:
1. You must be at least eighteen years old (this is a Mooresville Recreation Department requirement)
2. You must fill out the registration and indemnity forms online below. If this is not possible, it can be done at our first practice.
Registration will close on 8/3/22 after our team meeting.
Players will be contacted by their head coach once registration has closed. There will also be an open meeting to address any questions on Wednesday, August 3 at 7:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Parish Life Center.
Teams will be capped at sixteen players. If we have multiple teams, we will assign players to a particular team once registration is closed.
The cost to play will be determined once we know how many players we have signed up. Last year, the cost averaged $60 per player. This may slightly fluctuate based on the number of players and which shirts are purchased.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Question: What days of the week and time(s) do we play?
Answer: The men’s team(s) play on Tuesday or Thursday nights and the co-ed team (s) play on Monday nights. The earliest game times are 6:30pm. We play the same team twice.
Question: What if I cannot make every game?
Answer: Just play the games that you can. We intentionally have a surplus of players on each team to accommodate for any absences.
Question: What if I am not a very good player?
Answer: We welcome all players regardless of skill level. Many of our previous year's players haven't played in decades. We have also previously had players in their seventies playing on our teams.
Question: What special equipment do I need?
Answer: We will provide you with a shirt to wear for the games. The other attire is up to you. You will need a glove. Each team will have bats to share, but you can bring your own. Bats need to be approved for use prior to the games. This can be done at the field.
